Wild & Whisky Tour (Available All Year)

 Min 2 people - £150 per person - Approx 9.30am to 5pm

Whisky in Scotland was illegally distilled in the mountains since the late 16th Century.

There are many hidden illicit stills in the Highlands where the Highland Clans had to be one step ahead of the Excise men.

On this tour we will take you to a local distillery where you can sample some drams and visit a wonderful museum going through the whole history and production of whisky in Scotland.

We then head to the mountains to have  coffee and cake at one of the highest crofts in Scotland -  a true hidden gem. Once refreshed we set off to explore the historic illicit whisky still which is hidden in the hills above mysterious Loch Ness which is also a great opportunity to do a wee bit of Monster hunting ( This is a fairly brisk hillside walk through the forest and heather approx 2 miles walk)

Then we head into Inverness to the old part of the capital of the Highlands to a brewery bar where you can have wood fired pizza, fresh soup and a local organic beer.

Finally we head to an intimate whisky bar to 'Meet the Locals' (3 local drams) where you can enjoy your drams, relax in the heart of Inverness.
